Born in 1983 in Caen, he started dancing at the age of 14. Gold medalist at several international competitions, he joined the National Conservatory of Dance in Paris at the age of 15, and at the age of 17 at the Paris Opera School. His teachers are Sergei Soloviev, Alain Debrus, Jacques Namont and more particularly Jean-Yves Lormeau.
In 2002, he obtained his first contracts at the Opera de Florence and at the Opéra de Bordeaux. In 2003, Maurice Béjart engaged him in his company. For four years, he danced the master’s greatest works and distinguished himself as a soloist in „The Magic Flute“, „The Firebird“, „Dionysos“ or „Love, Dance“. Passionate about choreography since 1999 (date of his first show), he started his own company in 2006 surrounded by ten professional dancers in Caen. Supported until 2011 by the General Council of Calvados, the company became totally private in 2012. François Mauduit created for his company a sixty ballet that will shoot in France and Europe.
In 2010, he received the prestigious „Léonide Massine“ prize. Invited regularly to come to dance in Gala evenings bringing together the great names of the Paris Opera dance and other international troops, he also choreographed for other companies as for the Ballet Winter Palace with the creation of the „Little Prince“ in 2015 and in 2017 the ballet „Nutcracker“ at the National Ballet of Gdansk, which was a great public success.
In 2014, he created the „Prix Nijinski“ at Deauville, an international dance competition for young dancers that will see its sixth edition on December 1st and 2nd. He also regularly gives lectures on the history of dance with the theme „Classical Ballets, Transmission and Evolution“, „Maurice Béjart“, „The Bird and Dance“, „Balanchine / Tchaikovsky“, „Russian Ballets“ . He also works for television with the program „Prodiges“ but also for cinema as a consultant.
In 2016, he created the Junior Company, a springboard for young dancers who live in immersion with the company. He prepares them for the stage and the auditions. Since its creation, ten dancers from the Junior Company have found a professional contract in different European companies.
